Roller & Solar Shades in Miami & South Florida
Shades are the workhorse of a Florida home. A 1%–5% openness solar fabric cuts heat and glare while keeping the water or city view; a light-filtering fabric softens harsh midday sun; a blackout fabric turns a bedroom fully dark at 7 AM in July.

Why homeowners choose our shades
- Solar screen openness from 1% to 14% matched to each facade
- Minimal stack — the roll nearly disappears when raised
- Fascia, cassette or side channels to finish the top and edges
- Grouped controls so a whole wall of glass moves together
Where shades work best
- Picture windows
- Sliders
- Balcony doors
- Bedrooms
- Home theaters

Roller & Solar Shades — questions we get asked
- Which openness should I pick for a west-facing window?
- For strong afternoon sun we usually specify 1% or 3% openness. It knocks down glare and heat noticeably while keeping the outward view. 5%–10% is fine on shaded or north-facing glass.
- Can one shade cover a wide slider?
- A single roller panel spans up to about 144 inches. Wider openings are split into matched panels so the fabric hangs flat and tracks straight.
