Blackout Shades in Miami & South Florida
Blackout fabric alone is not full darkness — light still enters at the sides and top. For genuine blackout we combine a blackout fabric with side channels, a top cassette and a sill seal, so a bedroom stays dark through a bright Florida morning.

Why homeowners choose our blackout shades
- Blackout fabrics with side channels and cassette to kill light gaps
- Blackout honeycomb cells that darken and insulate at the same time
- Dual configurations: solar screen by day, blackout at night
- Blackout-lined drapery when the room needs softness as well as darkness

Blackout Shades — questions we get asked
- How dark can a blackout shade actually get?
- With side channels, a cassette and a proper sill overlap, close to a dark room at midday. Without channels, expect a soft halo of light around the edges.
- Blackout shade or blackout drapery?
- Shades control light best; drapery looks softer and helps with sound. Layering both is the strongest option for a primary bedroom.
